This is the Group Badge that was designed by Past Scout Martin Whelan to celebrate 75 years of Scouting in Abbeyside. The Group Badge is worn by Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, and Leaders with Pride on the Left Shoulder of their Uniform. The Group Badge is featured on the Group Baseball Cap and also on many other items.

I recognise and know the location of this photograph. It was taken at the rear of the castle in Cahir where everyone stopped off for a brief rest and some food. Probably while returning home from a youth hostel which would be on the main Cork road but whose name I cannot be certain of right now - perhaps it would be "Mountain Lodge" youth hostel!
