Comeragh Crossing
Members of the 4th Waterford Unit, Abbeyside helped out at some of the stations at last Saturdays Dungarvan Hill walking Club’s Comeragh Crossing, they were Scouts, Conor Harty, James Harty, Aaron Fraher, Patrol Leader, and Joe Conway, Patrol Leader, Ventures, Marco Hanrahan, Cearbhall Turraoin, Leaders Eammon Terry, Brendan Kiersey, Group Chairman Jim Shine and Group Treasurer Willie Whelan. Leaders Sandy Griffin, Michael Organ, Gearoid Fraher, and Group Council Member Fintin Strain all hiked across the Comeraghs. The day started out an ideal day for hiking but in the early afternoon the first of many heavy rain showers fell, making for difficult conditions for some of those out on the Mountains. Well done to everyone who was out on the Mountains in sometimes less than ideal weather conditions.

Tuesday night 17th July is this month Group Council. Meeting is at eight o’clock in the Scout Den.

If anyone has old Scout Photo’s we would love to be able to copy them, and add them to our very extensive records, which are available for viewing in the Abbeyside Reference Archive any Sunday.
