Thursday Night Cub Scout Pack Meeting 07/02/08
Our meeting this week started with Jamie saying the cub scout prayer followed by subs being taken up by Gearoid. A couple of rounds of the relay race followed to see if the rest of the clans could break the domination that the round tower clan seem to have over games in recent meetings. Some have compared this clan to Fernando Torres in full flight once they get going which is only too pleasing to their clan leader Ruari.Once again clan round tower were victorious on both occasions. We then sat down to do some test work in which all the regular cubs were examined on the cubs scout prayer and all passed with no problems. Even some of the newer cubs who weren't expected to know the prayer yet were able to say most of it off by heart even at this early stage. There was then a mime night where each cub had to mime either a household or school object for the rest of the cubs to take a guess at which proved to be a source of great fun. Seanie and Cearbhaill then played the corner game with the cubs with Ruari's clan narrowly winning. Gearoid then informed everyone that at next weeks meeting their would be some changes in the form of another clan. Everybody awaits to see who the new clan leader and assistant clan leader will be! Jamie then said the final prayer and everyone was dismissed.
