The first BAYWATCH camp ever held in Waterford, Ireland is on in Mount Melleray on Feb 15th, 16th, 17th. Wax your surfboards, get your beachwear ready, and practice your limbo dancing coz this promises to be a good one. The weather is due to be perfect for beach activities, as can only be expected for Feb in Melleray. Who’s this little fella? ON the way to Melleray???
Total Cost per scout for the weekend is €34/scout. This must be paid on the Friday. Any cheques are to be made out to Mount Melleray Scout Centre. The Centre will be open from 8.00pm on. No-one will be allowed into the Centre before this time. All dorms will be allocated to Groups before the weekend, so there will be no benefit arriving early.
Numbers indoors are restricted to 220 including Leaders.
All Groups have the choice of Camping with meals. A reduced rate will apply to Groups that take this option.
If the numbers exceed the places priority will be given to Groups that have regularly attended County Events in the last year. To guarantee your Groups place you must confirm your numbers with a €100 deposit to Eoin McMahon/Paschal Guilfoyle before Friday 8th February 2008.
