The early morning train that passes by Fota Island Cottage & Campsite every morning at 6am, where 4th Waterford Unit, Abbeyside Scout Troop, Scouting Ireland, were on Annual Camp 2006.

This is the Group Badge that was designed by Past Scout Martin Whelan to celebrate 75 years of Scouting in Abbeyside. The Group Badge is worn by Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, and Leaders with Pride on the Left Shoulder of their Uniform. The Group Badge is featured on the Group Baseball Cap and also on many other items.
